Tony's work is a product of many influences. He received his undergraduate education in Florida and his graduate degree in fine arts from Tulane University in New Orleans. His works are part of many private collections and have been included in numerous museum shows. His current works are a mixed media of acrylic on wood. They present a very textural imagery that is arrived at through a combination of carving and painting. The style that permeates these images reveals many and varied influences; modern masters, 60’s pop, New Orleans funk and Southern folk art to name a few that come to mind. All of which come together to portray this artist’s highly personal vision.
